Iron deficiency anemia is usually no difference in mortality. Anemia can be controlled by diet and iron supplements. I also have anemia ... Iron sometimes quite low (I had to have intravenous infusions of iron)

I do not believe that anemia affects life expectancy has enough to be significant. I think it is very common. This simply means that you should take vitamins and will probably not be able to donate blood. But in general, the vitamins of the return to a normal iron levels.

Iron deficiency anemia is a fatal disease, but the underlying cause of anemia due to iron deficiency. Is the source of nutrition, eat better and move on. If the cause is another disease to treat and to be corrected, as best you can.
